Balloon Boy’s Parents Forgot the GPS? 11/3/09

November 3, 2009

Last week a balloon boy flew away attached to a homemade balloon, while his parents and siblings video taped the incident, and cried out to save him, someone help……well not quite. Later the little boy let it slip that they made up the whole event for the tv show they were taping. Wow that was a shocker! Great job Mom and Dad for teaching that balloon boy right from wrong. What were they thinking????

Well back here on planet earth, we still see a vast majority of parents who are genuinely concerned about their children’s wellbeing. Parents who come to Spy Centre Security for hidden video of their nanny taking care of their helpless infant or toddler. Parents of teenagers who need Spy Centre GPS to know where their troubled child is in the middle of the night. Many of the products that we now carry were selected due to 19 years of parents coming into Spy Centre telling us their stories, and looking for answers. We try to provide the equipment to give parents the tools they need to know their kids and stay actively involved in their lives, at a time when kids want to be independent.

Parenting is said to be the hardest job on earth, and as a parent of two children myself, I believe it.  I was once asked on a news interview if I would be spying on my children, and using the security equipment we sell against them. My answer was a resounding “absolutely”. I will listen to their conversations, read their text messages, read their emails and instant messages, and track their cars while they are still my responsibility. So kids, don’t even think about it  ;)

As parents we need to stay one step ahead of this game. You may have noticed that your kids are more computer literate, are in constant communication with their peers, and have many more toys than you or I did growing up?  Come to Spy Centre Security and let us show you the latest spy gadgets available, where we are constantly working to update the newest innovations that parents need to keep our children safe. As a parent and as a business owner, I am still proud to say “Spy Centre Security is where you go, when you need to know”.

Feel free to leave me comments. How do you feel about spying on your children? What equipment have you personally used to monitor your child? I value your honest commentary.
